4/7/2015  · The property is added in Qlik Sense 1.1 and it is explained in the release note as follows: removedExternally: The user has been removed from the external from which the user was synchronized. So, I believe that the user is removed on the external user directory to which Qlik Sense Server is connected.


Removed externally: Status values: Yes or No. When Yes, it is normally because the user has been removed from the user directory. Tags: The tags that are connected to the user. ID: The ID of the user. Created: The date and time when the user was created. Last modified: The date and time when the user was last modified. Modified by: By whom the user was modified.


4/8/2021  · The Users section in the Qlik Sense Management Console lists their accounts are as Removed externally and Inactive. Open the Qlik Sense Management Console. In the Start menu, find the Users section in the Manage Content menu. Review the Users listed to identify which ones are set to Inactive or Removed externally.


Users can also become inactivated automatically by Qlik Sense, if they have been removed from the directory that Qlik Sense is connected to. If this happens, they are marked as Removed externally in the Users overview page. Inactive users remain owners of objects that they have created or been assigned ownership of.


5/10/2018  · Removed externally will prevent them from future access. Their past access is still valid and available in the logs and they would still be the owner of anything they created. As far as I know they wont be automatically deleted in Qlik.


8/22/2019  · The rule is ((user.licensetype=Professional)) which automatically allocates the license. The issue is when we remove the user from the user directory it reflects as an externally removed user in the Qlik user list but the license is still allocated to him and we have to manually deallocate the license.
